As January comes to an end did you know February 1st begins Black History Month? If you didn’t know, now you do. Carter G. Woodson was the founder of the Association for the Study of African-American Life and History. He’s the reason why there is Black History Month as his dedication and promotion of the history of African American people led to the establishment of Black History Month.
