King T’Challa (Black Panther)
King T’Challa, also known as the Black Panther is a Wakandan character who rules the hidden country of Wakanda. He is a fierce warrior and takes great pride within his country and protecting it. He is also considered an Avenger, fighting alongside them in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. His character passed away, as well as the actor, but Black Panther recently released a sequel that has been nominated for a multitude of Oscars in 2023.
Storm
Storm is a member of the X-Men series. She is a mutant who fights for equal rights between mutants and non-mutants. She obtains her power’s from the Earth’s electromagnetic field - allowing her to create a storm at any time she pleases. Her ethnicity is both Kenyan and African-American.
Miles Morales
Miles Morales is one of the many Spider-man across the Spider-verse. He is an animated character that will soon be releasing a sequel to his first movie. He is the first black Spider-man, and one of the youngest, to be solely featured in the MCU. His father is African-American and his mother is Puerto-Rican.
Sam Wilson
Sam Wilson, better known as Falcon, is one of the Black American Avengers. He has a robotic suit with wings, and often bravely fought alongside Captain America. He was also one of the unfortunate heroes to get blipped when Thanos snapped his fingers. In spite of that, Falcon is now the new Captain America and the leader of the Avengers.
Ironheart
Ironheart, first featured in the MCU in the most recent Black Panther movie has already sparked joy into many audience members. Her real name is Riri Williams, and she is said to be taking the role of Ironman in the future. She is an extremely smart woman, young, and has so much brilliance yet to be discovered. Her ethnicity is African American.
