Coachella, one of the most iconic festivals in the world which never fails to deliver an impressive lineup that has a diverse range of musical taste. This year’s lineup is no exception, featuring a mix of established artists and rising stars from various genres. The range goes from chart-topping artists to hidden gems.
1. Lana Del Ray- Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, professionally known as Lana Del Ray is an American singer-songwriter known for her dreamy music style with albums like “Born to Die” and “Ultraviolence” she rose to fame in the early 2010s. Lana will be joining the line-up for Coachella this year for her second performance since 2014. Fan’s have been hoping she will play her all time classics like “Brooklyn Baby” From the album “Ultraviolence” or “Summertime Sadness” From “Born to Die Paradise Edition”
2. ATEEZ- ATEEZ is a South Korean boy group formed by KQ Entertainment and debuted on October 24th 2018. Including all eight members Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Wooyoung, Mingi and Jongho. They gained international recognition for their powerful performances and unique sound from the album “Treasure EP.1: All to Zero '' and dynamic stage presence. ATEEZ Is making history by being the first Kpop boy group to perform at Coachella. Fans have hoped that ATEEZ will perform “Bouncy” and “Dune” from the album “The World EP.2: OUTLAW”
3. DEFTONES- Formed in 1988 in Sacramento, California is an american alternative metal band known for blending metal, shoegaze, and post-hardcore. Rising to fame in the mid 1900s with “Adrenaline” they continued to garner with albums like “Around the Fur”, “White Pony” and “Diamond Eyes'' earning praise for their unique sound, energetic live shoes and profound lyrics. Their inclusion in the Coachella line-up adds a touch of intensity and raw energy to the festival. Fans can expect a powerful and captivating performance from this iconic band.
4. TYLER the Creator- Tyler Gregory Okonma, Professionally known as Tyler the creator the multi- talented rapper and singer and producer, has been making waves in the music industry with his genre. His inclusion in the line-up showcases Coachella’s commitment to showcasing artists who push boundaries,Tyler’s dynamic stage presence are sure to captivate fans and audience. Fans have hoped to hear “NEW MAGIC WAND” and “EARTHQUAKE” from “Igor”
5. Faye Webster- Faye Webster, a rising star in the indie folk scene, brings a refreshing and soulful sound to Coachella. Her lyrics and dreamy melodies create a captivating atmosphere that resonates with listeners. With her unique blend of folk, pop, and R&B Influences, Faye Webster is set to leave a lasting impression on festival goers. Some fan would like her to perform her all time classics like “Kingston” “I know you” and “Right Side of My Neck”
