Everybody knows who Dumbledore is. He is a hero and one of the best characters in Harry Potter. But is he really a hero? Dumbledore has shown on multiple occasions that he should not be trusted with children. If he was tried in our world he would have multiple counts of child endangerment, neglect, murder, and many more.
“His bedroom was the cupboard under the stairs. When his Hogwarts letter was sent didn’t that cause concern? He didn't have proper clothes he was skinnier and smaller than everyone else. Why did no one check on him?”
To start this off why was he the one who decided that Harry went with the Dursleys? There should have been an investigation and they weren't even asked if they wanted him. He was abused and neglected for 10 years. His bedroom was the cupboard under the stairs. When his Hogwarts letter was sent didn’t that cause concern? He didn't have proper clothes he was skinnier and smaller than everyone else. Why did no one check on him? When he begged to stay at Hogwarts why was he sent back with no investigation just that his relatives love and miss him?
Then there is Snape he is not fit to be a teacher. It is known he belittles and bullies everyone who is not a Slytherin. He was bullied so badly that he took it out on everyone else. He tortured Harry and Dumbledore did nothing about it. Madam Umbridge was torturing students and he did nothing, he wasn’t even in the castle. When Harry went for help he was told to keep his head down.
He raised Harry as a pig for slaughter. When Snape found out he was also disgusted with Dumbledore. Snape hated Harry he tortured Harry but he was disgusted with what Dumbledore did. Harry was made to go through insane feats because he was the boy who lived. He was made to test his worth over and over again. He has to sacrifice his childhood and life for the Greater Good. Why did Dumbledore a headmaster of a school get to decide these things?
