The National Park Service was established in April of 1916. Since then, 63 National Parks have been created. We are lucky enough to have one right in our backyard. Cuyahoga Valley National Park has been around since 1974. The park boasts scenic trails, plentiful wildlife, and an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With the world becoming increasingly digital, and our lives revolving around technology, it is vital that we find time to reconnect with nature. 20 states don’t have a National Park in them at all, so how lucky are we that we have one so close! So, I would encourage you all to go explore this space that we have free access to. If you’re looking for somewhere to start, my favorite part of Cuyahoga Valley is the Ledges trail. It’s a hike surrounded by really cool rock formations, and it’s challenging while not being difficult. But honestly, any hike would be a good choice in Cuyahoga Valley. Happy Trails!
